Question: my goal is to lose 30 pounds by december. any advice?


Question Description:
i've been dieting and exercising for abt 3 weeks now and have lost 4 pounds. I walk for 30-40 minutes a day. then an hour on a step machine, then 20-30 minutes lifting dumbells. i stoped drinking soda and other carbonated drinks and cutting back on junk food. any other advice that you guys can give me?

I have been there and done it all....I lost 30 pounds in 2 months by doing the following:-Drink alot of water, it will help purify your body-Do not eat pasta, rice or breads(only whole grain bread when you do) if you must eat it do it prior to heavy activity so you can use it as fuel to burn it off throughout the day.-eat salmon at least once a week-drink green tea-do eat only when hungry have snacks in between so you do not eat an extra meal.-do not deprive yourself of food because when you do that you are not in total control, be in control and limit what you allow your body to splurge on.-eat an apple a day, they are sweet delicious and curb hunger.and lastly- Good Luck!!!!!
