Question: Bodybuilding?


Question Description:
I want to start bodybuilding now since its summer and I am out of school for 2 months. I want to be FULLY commited. My sisters BF is a professional bodybuilder and he has gave me some books on it, oh yeah and I'm trying to loose weight to add to that. I'm 13, can you think of anything I can do except join a gym.?.?... thanks!!Trust me, I'm not a junk food type of person..

Answer#1: OK listen up your 13 years old. If you want to lift that's fine go for it, but you don't want to go big and hurt yourself. Listen to your sisters boyfriend because he'll prob help you out allot. I wouldn't suggest dieting unless you kind of on the heavy side. If you want to lose some weight the thing I'd do is stop eating fatty foods BURGER KING, or McDonald's!! Good luck and have fun


Answer#2: I will make one suggestion to you: don't injure yourself. At your age, you will put on muscle quickly; the only thing that will really be a deterrent is NOT being able to workout due to an injury. Also, note: your diet is very important as well (not just training). Ask your sister's BF to help you with a diet plan that increases your caloric intake, and is a healthier and more protein laden diet than what you normally consume.Good luck.
