Answer#1: it is ok to take whey protein, meaning it will not hurt you.whether it will be beneficial in your attempt to build muscle, that will not be determined by the amount of extra protein you take, but by the amount of workload you put on your muscles.many people, specially people trying to bulk up, think that protein shakes will make you muscular but the truth is, protein will help a bit if your working out hard, if not then that protein will simply serve other functions in the body, or even become fat if not enough calories are burnt.so ... if you want muscle you gotta do plenty of bodyweight exercises and/or hit the weights. Protein supplements might help you meet your daily protein requirement, but honestly, if you eat a healthy diet, you will meet those requirements anyway.good luck!

Answer#2: Your fine.
