Answer#2: It will make you toned provided you watch your calorie intake along with the protein. The best time to take the protein is probably about 45 min. to 1 hour after your football work outs or any other strenuous activities you may do. Most people think that protein will make you big, but it is not the ingesting of protein that makes you gain weight, it is the amount of calories you ingest.

Answer#3: protein helps your muscles to repair themselves and it adds more muscle mass. if your only looking to tone stay off the whey protein and in the weight room do high reps with lows sets and lower weight. Also you may want to start doing a lot of the fundamental excersices which dont require weights such as push ups, pullups, dips...etcbtw i did the same thing couple of years ago and i did a lot pushups pull ups and they helped to tone by arms alot. I did like 8 sets of 40 pushups, 6 days a week and 4 sets of 15 pull ups 6 days a week

Answer#4: Buff
